ABOUT SONG CAO

Song Cao is an artist from China who graduated from the Lu Xun Academy of Fine Arts with a bachelor's degree in graphic design. He worked as a graphic designer until 2009, since then he decided to stay at home to create his own paintings. His works range from still lives, animals, landscapes to characters. Light, shadow, color, texture, etc. are all his art pursuits. His art expressions are diverse. He has tried many art media and pursued different artistic styles. His art expressions include: watercolor, Tempera, oil painting, acrylic, comprehensive materials. In addition, he has also produced art forms such as ceramics, Chinese painting and Chinese calligraphy.

He now lives in San Jose.
